If It’s Not Jesus Christ…It’s Vanity

Mankind’s inventing and building and striving activism for ‘progress’, making war against evil, even religious efforts to touch God is VANITY, it is chaos, confusion and hopelessness. It will not resolve the fatal flaw in reality. As good as these things are if they are not of Jesus Christ they are vanity. If Jesus Christ is excluded intentionally or unintentionally it is vanity, it is a waste of human effort.

These things may seem to begin to resolve things but in the end, more defeat and disappointment; we realize we were briefly living in a manufactured reality, like we are wearing virtual reality goggles.

But, the good news is that this fatal flaw has already been resolved for us, if we can accept it!

It is resolved in Jesus Christ, in him having first place in all things, first place in our individual lives (not self), first place in our families, first place in our church gatherings (not self, not clergy) and first place in entire nations (not governments).

“All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father….” – Matthew‬ ‭11:27‬a

We, like the Father, should daily hand our ‘all things’ over to Jesus Christ, he has earned them and he deserves them.

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; THAT IN ALL THINGS HE MIGHT HAVE THE PREEMINENCE. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;” – Colossians‬ ‭1:18-19‬

It pleased the father that in all things he (Jesus) have the preeminence.

So I ask you and I ask me does it please us that he (Jesus) have the preeminence? the first place in all of our lives? Please comment below, how do you or how could we better give him first place?

Let us daily give him what belongs to him.
