Throwback Thursday – Spiritual Plagiarism

Spiritual Plagiarism

pla·gia·rism/ˈplājəˌrizəm/ (noun) The practice of taking someone else’s work or ideas and passing them off as one’s own

How does one make the masses reject Christ when he is preached?  How does one cause the masses doubt any semblance of faith that they already have? To cause them to backslide and abandon God?  Try mixing a little goodness with evil, try plagiarizing some truth with a lot of deception. Confuse the masses about who is good and what is evil; this is the goal of spiritual plagiarism. Create your own ‘revelation’ by mixing the real with the false; this is a tactic we see these days.

Preempt Truth with Falsehood

One way to get a group of people to reject common sense and truth is to preempt it with falsehood. You embrace what is commonly accepted as insanity along with a smidgen of goodness at the same time.

To oppress women and minorities and embrace prayer. Preach the virtues or being a ‘martyr’ for God while murdering the faithful of other religions.

This is creating fatigue in the minds of the masses, the masses who are not paying close attention to who is evil and who is good. We’re being programmed by deception to reject faith in Christ because we’ve heard so much religious nonsense from the religious folk. We’ve been taught in the universities that all religions are the same, that religion is a man-made reaction to explain the unexplainable.

The idea that all religion is essentially the same insists that Jesus is not unique. He perhaps was a good man but not the son of God.

Only Jesus Christ:

  • Claimed to be the Jewish messiah.
  • Began the liberation of women from male oppression.
  • Said “no man comes to the Father except through me”.
  • Revolutionized the idea of forgiveness and mercy.
  • Fulfilled the scriptures of the Old Testament in ways we are still learning.
  • Rose from the dead.
  • Took 3 years to change the world
  • Said “I and the Father are one.”.
  • Promised to send the Holy Spirit to help us.
  • Said “all authority has been given to me…” only Jesus.
  • “Went about healing all those oppressed by the devil”.
  • Miraculously healed EVERY person who asked him to… never turning anyone down.
  • Claims that he will return and promised to create a new heaven and new earth.

I could go on and on. Read here about what Jesus said about himself.

No one can plagiarize Jesus himself, however they can plagiarize Catholicism, they can plagiarize “mega-churches”. They can plagiarize some of the behaviors of our politicians or the good deeds of the Red Cross. They can push for liberty then claim that they originated the idea.

They cannot however plagiarize Jesus Christ himself; they can only redefine him in minds and opinions. All the plagiarism on earth cannot replace who he is. What he had done and what he continues to do.
