Daily Prep Work

I noticed recently that I am more productive, more content, and even more courageous on the days that I pray in the morning. Whether I’m working for my company or working at home.

Jesus preps me for my work day. I work for him … even in menial, tedious, manual labor that is viewed as unimportant by worldly standards.

Work is a blessing and gift, the important and the unimportant work… ALL of it. Whether it’s connected to large income, small income or no income at all.

If our mindset and goal is to simply “work hard”, we wear out quickly

but when it’s “work unto Jesus Christ” and even better “work alongside Jesus Christ”, then he energizes and sustains us for the work of our day from the inside out.
