So many Christians today have narratives for life, we have our worldview about the church and we try to cram experience and scripture into it.

Large portions of scripture are never taught or preached today in “churches” because they don’t fit these narratives.

I think politicians learned this on Sunday mornings. “Pick the narrative you like then take power over others then make everyone and everything thing fit into it.” None of this has a future.

The real narrative we need to hold is the one of Jesus Christ, his kingdom taking over on earth. The eternal purpose of God, the gospel of the kingdom.

All things not of the Lord Jesus are going away. All things that happen in the meetings of his people are going away, …the easy way or the hard way.
