“But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand!”- Psalms 31:14-15a ESV

My times are in the hands of Jesus Christ, not my own hands. I do what he does, I say what he says, I go where he goes. I do not bother with impatience or with fear of missing out. The only unfinished business in my life is following Jesus Christ today.

He directs my steps and my activities. If following him causes me to miss out on something then let me miss out. If it causes a loss of a friend then so be it. If it hurts me financially then ok. If it seems boring then bored I’ll be. If it seems stressful or scary then I’ll get thru it.

My times, both my daily schedule and my lifelong accomplishments and pursuits are in the hands of my Lord Jesus Christ.
