If you are a passionate young Christian wanting to be in ministry, it is far better to wait on your ministry than jump right in with eager ambition.

Not because patience is a virtue.

But because impatience is an emotional response to boredom.

If the emotions of boredom and ambition drive us, into ministry, they won’t last.

The things that fleeing boredom drives us to do …. themselves get boring.

Control your emotions.

Follow Jesus patiently then wait on him to use you, even if it takes 50 years. Trust me… whatever he has for you to do is worth the wait.
