“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” –
Ephesians 6:4 NASB
This verse implies that fathers not disciplining & instructing children causes anger.
Christian Fathers do not delegate by neglect “instructing in the Lord” to their mothers and pastors … that is a mistake.
It feels like neglect to them, which is very painful and they will likely struggle relating to God if dad does not talk to them. Be sure to know exactly what they are being taught, correct it if necessary and teach them many things yourself.
Or if you can’t teach well at least show them what you are doing in life. Share your hopes and dreams and goals with them, that alone will instruct them.
