Today the supreme court ruled that same-sex marriage is legal and all states should allow same-sex marriage.

Those celebrating this decision are using the hash tag #LoveWins all over social media.  So today love won? No, love is not fighting anymore, that ship has sailed, you see love has a name, love is a person, love is not a cause, love is not a feeling between a husband and wife, or between a husband and a husband.  Love is not a set of freedoms to redefine the law.  Governments do not decide what is love and what is not love.

Because you see love is a person and he has a name.  Jesus Christ is his name and He is himself love!

In pursuing government approval of their relationships LGBT people are really pursuing him! We all who love life are pursuing him, whether we realize it or not.

Jesus Christ is love, and Jesus Christ already won, he is our creator embodied in a person, and he already won everything that needs to be won!  “…all the fullness…” (of life and the universe)”…dwells in him” (Jesus Christ)

He personally destroyed hate and death itself.  So don’t think that love won today because love won long ago, the winds and waves of governments mean nothing in light of him.  SCOTUS rulings are no reason to rejoice if you are happy today and are no reason to panic if you oppose it, nothing compares to knowing love himself.
